Senior Corrosion Engineer

Southern Cathodic Protection, a leading consulting engineering firm with an office in Atlanta, Georgia, has a management opening for a Senior Corrosion Engineer.

Position requires a BS/MS in Engineering or Physical Science from an accredited college or university. Minimum experience of 10 years as a corrosion engineer in studies, designs, project management, client contact, business promotion and budget responsibilities. Must have experience on a wide variety of corrosion control projects such as pipelines, water/wastewater treatment facilities, tanks, offshore structures, and power transmission structures. Knowledge of cathodic protection, coatings, materials selection and other methods of corrosion control. Good written and oral communications skills for preparation of technical reports and their formal and informal presentations. Must have the ability to work with engineers of other disciplines in the
